Paul grew up in the East Troy area and graduated from East Troy High School in
1979. After High School Paul attended Marquette University and graduated in 1984
with an accounting degree.
Paul’s accounting career started in Milwaukee at Wispak Foods as their
corporate accountant. Over the next 10 years Paul worked at Kenosha Savings and
Loan, Gaarder Miller Consultants, and Milwaukee Eye Care gaining important
accounting experience and earning his CPA designation.
Paul and his family lived in Milwaukee during the first ten years of his
career but as the family grew he found that they needed more space for the
children to play. They settled on land in East Troy and built a house shortly
after. They returned to East Troy because they felt it was a great place to
raise their children having spent some or most of their own childhoods here.
In late 1995 Paul decided he wanted to start his own practice having done
accounting for various clients while employed. It started in a little side
office in the Hudec Professional building. By 2002 he had outgrown that office
and joined with his Brother Greg (a dentist) to build the Nyffeler Business
Center in the business park on Honey Creek Road.
In addition to managing his practice, Paul continues to coach for his sons’
basketball, baseball, soccer, and flag football teams. Paul is the past Chariman
of the WICPA’s Small Business Committee and served as a Director and President
of the East Troy Chamber of Commerce from 1996 – 2006.
